Before Your Appointment (Pre-Treatment)
Proper preparation ensures the adhesive bonds correctly and helps maximise the longevity of your lash extensions.
Arrive with clean, makeup-free lashes.
Please ensure there is no eye makeup on arrival, particularly mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, or under-eye concealer. Residue can affect adhesion and retention.
Avoid oil-based products prior to your appointment.
Do not apply eye creams, oils, or heavy moisturisers around the eye area on the day of your appointment.
Avoid lash curlers.
Curling the lashes prior to your appointment can impact the application process.
Allow enough time to relax.
Lash extension appointments can take up to 1 hour and 45 minutes. Please arrive prepared to lie comfortably with your eyes closed for the duration of the treatment.
Contact lenses.
If you wear contact lenses, we recommend removing them before your appointment for comfort.
No recent lash lifts.
We are unable to apply lash extensions if you have recently had a lash lift. A minimum of 4 weeks must have passed since your lash lift before lash extensions can be applied. This is to ensure the safety of your natural lashes and the quality of the final result.

After Your Appointment (Aftercare)
Just as important as preparation, following the correct aftercare will help maintain your lash extensions and protect your natural lashes.
Avoid steam for 24 hours.
Do not expose your lashes to steam, including hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, or hot yoga, as this can interfere with the curing process of the adhesive.
Avoid oil-based products.
Oils can break down the lash adhesive, causing premature shedding. Use water-based cleansers, makeup, and skincare products around the eye area.
No mascara or oil-based eyeliner.
These products are difficult to remove, can cause clumping, affect retention, and may increase the risk of eye infections if not thoroughly cleaned from the extensions.
Do not pick, pull, or rub your lashes.
Touching or pulling can cause premature lash loss and may damage your natural lashes. Repeated pulling over time can result in permanent damage to the hair follicle.
Sleep carefully.
Try to sleep on your back or side to minimise friction. Using a silk pillowcase or a lash-extension-friendly sleep mask can help reduce rubbing while you sleep.
Keep lashes away from heat and flames.
Lash extensions are flammable. Avoid direct heat sources such as ovens, BBQs, candles, and blow dryers near the lashes.
Infills & Maintenance
Infills are recommended every 2–3 weeks to maintain a full, fresh look and to safely remove outgrown lashes before replacing them with new extensions.
Regular infills help protect the health of your natural lashes and ensure your set always looks its best.
Removal & Foreign Lash Policy
Do not attempt to remove lash extensions at home.
Improper removal can cause significant damage to your natural lashes.
Professional removal only.
Please book a professional lash removal appointment with us at Beaute.
Foreign infills are not accepted.
If your lash extensions were applied by another technician, a foreign removal must be booked prior to receiving a new full set with us.
